2012 Norris Dam Challenge 12K

The 14th race, Norris Dam Challenge 12K, in the Tennessee State Parks 2011-2012 Running Tour was at Norris Dam State Park, TN on January 14, 2012. The Norris Dam Challenge 12K was a new course and even harder, a lot of hills. The State of Franklin Track Club and East Tennessee, was well represented at the race with 19 members participated and with 1 overall winners. Listed below are the SFTC members.

• Bob Townsend from Limestone, TN was the Overall Senior Grandmaster Winner with a time of 57:26 and was 23 out of 118.
• Ashley Morelock from Bristol, TN was 1st in the Female 25 to 29 age group and was the 3rd overall female with a time of 57:55 and was 25 out of 118.
• Rhonda Denham from Bristol, TN was 2nd in the Female 40 to 44 age group with a time of 1:04:05 and was 44 out of 118.
• Sherry Richardson from Johnson City, TN was 4th in the Female 40 to 44 age group with a time of 1:10:29 and was 70 out of 118.
• Heidi Overbay from Kingsport, TN was 1st in the Female 45 to 49 age group with a time of 1:01:56 and was 38 out of 118.
• Wendy Weidner from Bristol, TN was 5th in the Female 50-54 age group with a time of 1:10:50 and was 73 out of 118.
• Mary Rodriguez from Abingdon, VA was 6th in the Female 50 to 54 age group with a time of 1:11:37 and was 78 out of 118.
• Harriet Locke from Bristol, TN was 1st in the Female 70 and old age group with a time of 1:38:04 and was 117 out of 1118.
• Haydn Borghetti-Metz from Surgoinsville, TN was 1st in the Male 19 & under age group and was 2nd overall male with a time of 47:59 and was 2 out of 118.
• Shawn Shelton from Greeneville, TN was 3rd in the Male 35-39 age group with a time of 57:21 and was 22 out of 118.
• Lynn Richardson from Johnson City, TN was 3rd in the Male 40 to 44 age group with a time of 54:27 and was 12 out of 118.
• Wes McElravy from Kingsport, TN was 8th in the Male 40 to 44 age group with a time of 1:05:18 and was 49 out of 118.
• Dale Riddle from Pound, VA was 1st in the Male 50 to 54 age group with a time on 56:55 and was 20 out of 118.
• Arthur Ricker from Greeneville, TN was 3rd in the Male 50-54 age group with a time of 58:07 and was 27 out of 118.
• Charles Hubbard from Piney Flats was 8th in the Male 50 to 54 age group with a time of 1:05:27 and was 50 out of 118.
• Alan Dausman from Harriman, TN was 4th in the Male 55-59 age group with a time of 1:13:47 and was 82 out of 118.
• Bill Dickerson from Gray, TN was 1st in the Male 60 to 64 age group with a time of 57:49 and was 24 out of 118.
• Sam Culbertson from Kingsport, TN was 8th in the Male 60-64 age group with a time of 1:25:20 and was 110 out of 118.
• Tony Borghetti from Surgoinsville, TN was 2nd in the Male 70 & Old with a time of 1:05:55 and was 53 out of 118.
