Approval of Minutes: Matthew Studholme stated Sheri had sent out minutes from April 2011 meeting to all Board members. The minutes of the meeting were, upon motion duly made and seconded, approved as presented.

Outstanding invoices from 2010: Rhythm & Roots (Tom Murrell to contact Lea Ross) and Jonesborough Parks & Rec. 5K (Jason talked with Rachel and sent her another copy of the invoice – Sheri will visit Rachel – Parks & Recs coordinator for JB).
Mary shared that we had one scholarship application from Amy Oreskovic a Senior at Dobyns-Bennett High School. Amy is planning to attend the University of Illinois majoring in Bioengineering. A motion was made to award Amy both $250 scholarships since she is highly qualified and the only applicant. The motion was seconded and approved by the Board.
Summer Track Meets:
Matthew had a question on the dates for the track meets. Phil was not at the meeting so item is postponed to next month.
Runscore/Chip Timing Class:
Matthew will contact Donna to set up a room at Eastman for the class and post it on the website.
New Races presented to SFTC for management support:
Need volunteers for the Cougar Courage 3K on May 21st. Donna Bays is the race liaison. The Hope 4 on May 21st also needs volunteers – Bob Townsend the race liaison. Bob will send out an e-mail blast this week to solicit volunteers.
Matthew encouraged club members to attend the Duck Island Spring Mile (SFTC-owned) on Sunday June 5th.
Kids Festival of Miles Coordinator:
Kids Festival of Miles is still looking for a coordinator. Matthew will send copies of the Access database to Michael & Sheri. The current program will only work on Access 2003. Matthew will also post on the website to see if anyone is interested in taking on the role.
