Kids' Festival of Miles

An SFTC initiative designed to encourage and support running in kids 14 yrs old & under.

SFTC proudly offers the Kids Festival of Miles, a series of 1-mile races that make up a season-long challenge! Runners are scored by age group, taking the best 3 times of the season.

Rules:

  • Age Groups:  8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14  (age is determined as-of first race of KFOM season)
  • Minimum # of Races: To qualify for season awards, each runner must complete at least 3 KFOM races
  • Scoring: Overall score is determined by averaging the 3 best KFOM times
  • It's EASY: No need to register or pay special fees. Just run at least 3 KFOM races

Awards: Those completing at least 3 races will:

  • Be invited to the SFTC Awards Banquet in December
  • Receive a medal at the Awards Banquet acknowledging their achievement
  • Fastest Male/Female season average in each age group will receive a trophy
